Anything But Straight / 2017
"Anything But Straight" features a new series of paintings in which Wizard Skull explores how far an abstract line can wiggle, curve, double over, and go anywhere but along a straight path, while still being able to portray the idea of the cartoon characters we are familiar with. The work below consists of paintings from a 3 day live painting/showing at Lazy Susan Gallery in LES, NYC in March of 2017
